Atlanta, GA and Philadelphia, PA – October 10, 2008 – The Boards of Trustees of two leading library cooperatives, PALINET and SOLINET voted to recommend the merger of the two organizations, subject to a final vote by their respective memberships. By December 1, voting representatives will receive specific information regarding the merger plan and necessary legal documentation. The vote is expected to take place by early 2009.
